Rooted and Anchored offers Christ-centered counseling, marriage support, retreats, workshops, and extensive relationship resources. We hold that marriage is a divine covenant, a God-designed bond worthy of deep, intentional investment. We understand that couples today face intense challenges from work, family demands, stress, trauma, and difficult emotional seasons. Our mission is to ensure you never walk through these trials alone, providing a sanctuary where your union can be restored.

Our mission is to strengthen marriages and relationships through Christ-centered couples counseling, retreats, and relationship services that are rooted in Scripture and grounded in biblical principles.
We seek to provide couples with a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where they can communicate openly, address conflict, rebuild trust, deepen emotional connection, and grow together.
We desire to help couples become rooted in Christ, anchored in God's Word, and strengthened in their commitment to one another, equipping them to build marriages that honor God and remain resilient through every season of life.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see marriages restored, strengthened, and renewed through a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and a biblical understanding of marriage.
We envision couples who intentionally pursue one another with love, communicate with honesty and grace, practice forgiveness, extend compassion, serve one another with humility, and remain committed to growing together.
We believe that when marriages are strengthened, families and communities are strengthened as well.
Our desire is to help couples build marriages that are not simply surviving life's challenges, but growing stronger through them—rooted in Christ and anchored in His Word.
Meet the Founders
Ryan & Amanda Frost
Rooted and Anchored was born from both our professional experiences and our personal journey through marriage. I’m Reverend Ryan Frost, MDiv., and along with my wife, Amanda, I am a Co-Founder of Rooted and Anchored. My professional journey has included service in the United States Marine Corps, more than 13 years working in law enforcement and corrections, and serving as a correctional chaplain since 2023. I am also a certified marriage counselor and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry with a focus in Chaplaincy.
Amanda brings her own unique experience and education to our work together. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, is an educator and certified marriage counselor, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
But our story is about more than our education and professional experience. Both of us grew up in homes affected by divorce, and those experiences shaped many of our early ideas about relationships and marriage. We made a commitment to one another that we did not want to simply repeat what we had experienced. We wanted to break the cycle and build something different.
Early in our marriage, we were not believers in Christ. In 2013, that changed. We surrendered our lives to God and began intentionally building our marriage around His Word. We learned that being rooted in God's Word and anchored in Christ does not mean that problems disappear. It means we have a foundation to return to when life becomes difficult.
Serving Those Who Serve
Ryan and Amanda share a deep commitment to caring for those who serve in high-pressure roles. Drawing on their own background in the military and law enforcement, they understand the heavy toll that service can take on a family. Their desire is to provide these heroes with a firm scriptural foundation, helping couples build resilient, God-honoring marriages that can withstand the unique challenges of their callings.
Our hope is that every couple would find the same restoration we found in Christ.

Why “Rooted and Anchored”?
The name reflects our belief that while storms will inevitably come into every marriage, we do not have to be swept away. By being deeply rooted in Christ and anchored in the unchanging truth of His Word, a marriage can heal, grow, and become stronger than ever before.
What We Believe About Marriage
Marriage is more than a contract; it is a sacred covenant thoughtfully designed by God to be the foundation for profound love, commitment, and spiritual growth. We believe this union provides a beautiful space for companionship and mutual service, where two become one as envisioned in Genesis 2:24. Scripture invites husbands and wives to love, honor, and care for each other with forgiving hearts. Guided by the wisdom of Ephesians 5:25–33, we provide a warm, compassionate environment for couples to flourish, ensuring that their journey together is marked by respect and the servant-hearted grace found in Christ.
